He halted in the wind, and -- what was that
Far in the maples, pale, but not a ghost?
He stood there bringing March against his thought,
And yet too ready to believe the most.

"Oh, that's the Paradise-in-bloom," I said;
And truly it was fair enough for flowers
had we but in us to assume in march
Such white luxuriance of May for ours.

We stood a moment so in a strange world,
Myself as one his own pretense deceives;
And then I said the truth (and we moved on).
A young beech clinging to its last year's leaves.
One of the hardest things about dreaming about that one person you love is to wake and find that it was not real but merely just another dream. Knowing you’ll never hold or touch that one person who completes you. That person who makes you feel like you’re the only person in the world. The one that make your life worth living. The one who keeps you grounded and safe. The one who you can’t go a second without seeing or hearing their voice. The one who make you feel alive and well. The one who always put a smile on your dace no matter what life throws your way. The one who would die, steal and lie for you. The one who makes everything ok just by breathing. The one you would die, lie and steal for. Even though you only exist in my dreams and that’s the only place where I can see and be with you I don’t mind being asleep forever.
There are gifts of many treasures
For both the young and old,
From the tiniest little trinkets
To great boxes filled with gold.

But, put them all together
And they could not stand in lieu,
Of the greatest gift of all
The gift of knowing you.

When your times are filled with troubles
Sadness, grief, or even doubt,
When all those things you planned on
Just aren't turning out.

Just turn and look behind you
From the place at which you stand,
And look for me through the shadows
And reach out for my hand.

I will lift from you your burden
And cry for you your tears,
Bear the pain of all your sorrows
Though it may be for a thousand years.

For in the end I would be happy
To have helped you start anew,
It's a small price to pay
For the gift of knowing you.
A Friend's Greeting

I'd like to be the sort of friend that
you have been to me;
I'd like to be the help that
you've been always glad to be;

I'd like to mean as much to you
each minute of the day
As you have meant, old friend of mine,
to me along the way.

I'd like to do the big things and
the splendid things for you,
To brush the gray from out your skies
and leave them only blue;

I'd like to say the kindly things that
I so oft have heard,
And feel that I could rouse your soul
the way that mine you've stirred.

I'd like to give you back the joy
that you have given me,
Yet that were wishing you a need
I hope will never be;

I'd like to make you feel as rich as I,
who travel on
Undaunted in the darkest hours with you to
lean upon.

I'm wishing at this time that I
could but repay
A portion of the gladness that
you've strewn along my way;

And could I have one wish this year,
this only would it be:
I'd like to be the sort of friend
You are friendly, kind and caring
Sensitive, loyal and understanding
Humorous, fun, secure and true
Always there... yes that's you.

Special, accepting, exciting and wise
Truthful and helpful, with honest blue eyes
Confiding, forgiving, cheerful and bright
Yes that's you... not one bit of spite.

You're one of a kind, different from others
Generous, charming, but not one that smothers
Optimistic, thoughtful, happy and game
But not just another... in the long chain.

Appreciative, warm and precious like gold
Our friendship won't tarnish or ever grow old
You'll always be there, I know that is true
You're my man, my mighty king,
And I'm the jewel in your crown,
You're the sun so hot and bright,
I'm your light-rays shining down,

You're the sky so vast and blue,
And I'm the white clouds in your chest,
I'm a river clean and pure,
Who in your ocean finds her rest,

You're the mountain huge and high,
I'm the valley green and wide,
You're the body firm and strong,
And I'm a rib bone on your side,

You're an eagle flying high,
I'm your feathers light and brown,
You're my man, my king of kings,
And I'm the jewel in your crown.
I love the way you look at me,
Your eyes so bright and blue.
I love the way you kiss me,
Your lips so soft and smooth.

I love the way you make me so happy,
And the ways you show you care.
I love the way you say, "I Love You,"
And the way you're always there.

I love the way you touch me,
Always sending chills down my spine.
I love that you are with me,
And glad that you are mine.
My love, I have tried with all my being
to grasp a form comparable to thine own,
but nothing seems worthy;

I know now why Shakespeare could not
compare his love to a summer’s day.
It would be a crime to denounce the beauty
of such a creature as thee,
to simply cast away the precision
God had placed in forging you.

Each facet of your being
whether it physical or spiritual
is an ensnarement
from which there is no release.
But I do not wish release.
I wish to stay entrapped forever.
With you for all eternity.
Our hearts, always as one.
A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.

Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.

And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.
FRIENDSHIP IS A PRICELESS GIFT

THAT CANNOT BE BOUGHT OR SOLD

BUT ITS VALUE IS FAR GREATER

THAN THE MOUNTAIN MADE OF GOLD

FOR GOLD IS COLD & LIFELESS

IT CAN NEITHER SEE NOR HEAR

& IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE

IT IS POWER LESS 2 CHEER--

IT HAS NO EARS 2 LISTEN

NOR HEART 2 UNDERSTAND

IT CANNOT BRING U CONFORT

OR REACH OUT A HELPING HAND

SO WHEN U ASK

GOD FOR A GIFT

BE THANKFUL IF HE SENDS

NOT DIAMONDS, PEARLS OR RICHES

BUT THE LOVE OF REAL TRUE FRIENDS
Anyone can stand by you when you are right, but a Friend will stand by you even when you are wrong...

A simple friend identifies himself when he calls. A real friend doesn't have to.

A simple friend opens a conversation with a full news bulletin on his life.

A real friend says, "What's new with you?"

A simple friend thinks the problems you whine about are recent.

A real friend says, "You've been whining about the same thing for 14 years. Get off your duff and do something about it."

A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.

A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.

A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.

A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.

A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.

A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.

A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight.

A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you!
As we walk our path of life,
We meet people everyday.
Most are simply met by chance.
But, some are sent our way.

These become special friends
Whose bond we can't explain;
The ones who understand us
And share our joy and pain.

Their love contains no boundaries.
So, even we are apart.
Their presence enhances us
With a warmth felt in the heart.

This love becomes a passageway,
When even the miles disappear.
And so, these friends, God sends our way,
Remain forever near.
You are my best friend,
My very best friend,
You make me happy,
Everyday,
You share your great snacks,
You share your best toys,
So please don't take
My best friend away.

My Best Friend
Today I found a friend,
Who knew everything I felt.
She knew my every weakness,
And the problems I've been dealt.

She understood my wonders,
And listened to my dreams.
She listened to how I felt about life and love,
And knew what it all means.

Not once did she interrupt me,
Or tell me I was wrong.
She understood what I was going through,
And promised she'd stay long

I reached out to this friend
To show her that i care
To pull her close and let her know
How much I need her there

I went to hold her hand
To pull her a bit nearer
And realized that this perfect friend I found
Was nothing but my mirror.
You came into my life so quick,
A gorgeous pleasant surprise,
I hoped you wouldn’t give me the flick,
Then, a beautiful friendship did arise.
Our bond was so very strong,
It couldn’t help but turn into love,
We wondered if going further was wrong,
But we fit each other like a glove.

It feels so right to be so near,
To feel like we are but one,
Sometimes our love is worth a tear,
Those tears of joy, I’m sure there are more to come

It really is love, my baby,
The longing for one anothers lips,
You are my beautiful young lady,
I know it as we dance with my hands upon your hips.
Love is a most wonderful feeling on earth. You feel really excited and out of the world when you hear “YES” or “I DO” from your partner. Love poems play important role between the two lovers. These poems are nice way to express your feelings and love in front of your soul mate. It is not a new method through which you can win the heart of your beloved. Ancient literature also shows that this is very old method through which one lover tries to attract his/her partner.

There many poets around the world who got amazing popularity due to their best love poems. Few famous poets are Joyce Kilmer, Emily Watson, Emily Dickinson, Christopher Marlowe, Richard Hopper etc. These people touched the sky as far their success is concerned. Their writing skills about the love were amazing. Their love poems created fantastic atmosphere and helped lovers too. With the help of same poems, many lovers got opportunity to win the heart of their partner.

Even in current world, many people try to write love poems for their partner but it is not an easy task. It seems easy when you read it but it is not. If you are in true love with some one then nothing can stop you to write a fantastic poem.
If you want to simply your fashion statement, your purse should be the most inconspicuous item you have. Preferably it should be invisible.
If you feel you must carry a purse, make it a very small one with a shoulder strap, so you can keep your hands free, and just big enough to hold an ID, some money, and your lipstick. What else do you really need for getting back and forth to work or going out for an evening? Any other items you think you can't live without can be kept in the glove compartment of your car or stowed in your desk drawer at the office.
Of course, the slacks and skirts and jackets of your simple wardrobe will have pockets, and you can get by on most outings by stashing some cash and possibly your lipstick there.
If you've never experienced the freedom of not having to lug around a huge purse full of items you don't need and seldom use-a so called handbag that in almost every instance detracts from whatever you're wearing-now is a good time to start.
Do you ever find yourself reliving some upsetting event or circumstance of your life, feeling you just can't seem to get over it? This could be anything from an altercation with a co-worker to the dissolution of your marriage. It could have happened years ago, or only yesterday. You keep thinking about it, wishing you had done things differently. It haunts you, but agonizing over it doesn't seem to help.
One of the things I've been able to do as a result of slowing down the pace of my life is to stop reliving the past. I've come to realize that, when you get right down to it, there are no mistakes; there are no wrong decisions. I've gotten into the habit of interpreting the events of my life-whether apparently good or bad-as powerful circumstances that , no matter the temporary outcome, will ultimately get me where I want to go.
Constantly reliving past events only complicates your life. Reinterpreting them as positive steps forward, and then moving on, will keep things simple.
One of the many positive changes to come out our simplification program is that I've learned that if something isn't going well, its usually better to stop doing it.
Many of us grew up with the misguided belief that if something is not working, a business transaction, a partnership, or any kind of endeavor, all we had to do was work harder at it, and somehow we could make it right. Holding on to that belief has kept millions of people in difficult life choices, and has created a lot of unhappiness that could be avoided. Obviously, there's a difference between hard work that produces wonderful and satisfying results, and hard work that you just know is never going to accomplish what you want to do.
You can't fit a square peg into a round hole. It takes courage to realize that something you've been working on, perhaps for a long time, just isn't right and to walk away from it. When I look back on my life I can see that the things that have turned out well were, for the most part, relatively easy, and the things that didn't turn out well were, for the most part, impossibly difficult, they were simply not meant to be.
I know now if it's not working, Its best to move on, and to put my energies elsewhere.
Think how simply your life would be if you eliminated the impossible things-the things that probably weren't meant to be anyway-and concentrated on doing what works.
Sunset has always been one of my favorite times of day. Before I simplified my life, I was frequently too busy to enjoy it. Now that my word is simpler, I almost never miss what is regularly one of the most spectacular shows on earth.
There's something so captivating about the setting sun, especially when weather and atmospheric conditions help to create dramatic cloud formations and brilliant colors that give your whole world a different hue. Seen in the light of the setting sun, our problems seem minor, even if only for a few moments.
The wonderful thing about sunset, and much the same can be said for sunrise, is that it happens every day, and even if the sunset itself is not spectacular, it marks the beginning of the end of another day. It's a great time to pause and take notice. Teach your kids to enjoy the beauty of sunrises and sunsets, too. It's a very inexpensive show and its a whole lot better for them than television.
Creating a simple life isn't always simple. Some steps, like stopping the junk mail or throwing out everything but the aspirin, are easy and can be accomplished in a matter of minutes. Others, like moving to a smaller home or cleaning up your relationships, can take much longer and can be among the most difficult things you ever have to do.
I'm referring to an impossible marriage or a relationship that isn't going anywhere, and that is causing you stress or pain. If you're in such a relationship, and you've tried to fix it and you can't, get out. If you can't come to that decision on your own, then get help. Talk to the therapist, or join a support group of people who are committed to your happiness and well-being. If you can't find such a group, then form one of your own. Meeting on a regular basis with people who are going trough similar problems, and who are committed to growth, can provide a powerful impetus for you to get out of a dysfunctional relationship.
Cleaning up relationship applies to friends, too. Perhaps its time to think about moving on from a relationship that no longer works for you. Ending a friendship, unlike ending a marriage, doesn't necessarily require a major confrontation or discussion. Depending on your history together, sometimes it's easier to retreat and simply fade out of someone else life.
When you think about it, the getting out of a difficult relationship can be relatively easy. It is the deciding to get out that is often the difficult part. No other thing you could possibly do will simply your life as quickly or as completely as getting a relationship that isn't working.
